Remote Support

Pc Mechanic LogoProviding you have working broadband connection I can connect to your computer remotely to diagnose and fix a diverse range of issues. Once a connection is made I can take control of your PC as if I were in front of it and carry out any necessary work. It's almost like watching the computer fix itself! This is all achieved through a small application called Crossloop.
Crossloop uses the internet to feed an image of your computer through to my screen and feedback any commands from my mouse and keyboard to your PC, and as this is through the same ports used for web browsing, there are no issues with firewalls blocking connections.
Crossloop is very secure as each session can only be initiated by the customer providing a unique access code to the helper. This code is valid until the session is disconnected, at which time the access code is deleted and a new one will need to be generated before another session can be initiated.
The customer also has the option of terminating the session at any time. Therefore you can rest assured that your computer remains secure at all times.
Communication is usually quite helpful during a Crossloop session and I prefer to use Skype if you have it; as this allows voice communication at no cost. If you do not have Skype you can download it for free from the right hand navigation pane, or from the Skype website, see the links page for more information. I am also happy to communicate through I.M (Instant Messaging) and generally use Windows Messenger. If you use some other form of online communication and would prefer to use that, just let me know and I will try to accommodate your requirements.
